Campers will be split into smaller groups according to age and interest for the week. The Camp Room Leader will be in lead of a smaller group.

Camp Room Leader tasks and responsibilities are focused around the children and youth that they are working with at camp. This includes facilitating crafts, games, and activities.

Camp Room Leader leads the staff to  supervise the children and youth in all aspects of the camp program.

Camp Room Leader may be expected to work with larger or smaller groups of children and youth; they may also work one-on-one with a child as needed.

Camp Room Leader will implement behavior management techniques and ensure the ongoing safety of campers with the support of the Camp coordinator and other counsellors.

The Camp Room Leader acts as a positive role model for the children and youth at camp. This role involves interaction with parents and guardians daily.

The Camp Room Leader will ensure that the camp environment is safe, clean, and inviting.

The Camp Room Leader will assist with the development and implementation of a weekly schedule for their camp group. This role will include the maintenance of accurate program records, including incident reports, logbook documentation, and daily attendance.

The Camp Room Leader will understand all emergency procedures associated with the camp program and will enforce safety guidelines. The Camp Room Leader will guide program volunteers to develop leadership and counselling skill development.

The Youth Development Co-ordinator will lead the development and facilitation of The Quintilian Way Transition Programs, which focus on the development of life skills for individuals age 14+. For example, Transition Programs can include an Employment Readiness Program and a social program for young adults of varying abilities.

The Youth Development Co-ordinator works with the Programs Coordinator to develop the transition programs, as well as the ongoing training and supervision of the Life Skills Instructors.

The Youth Development Coordinator ensures that programs focus on the acquisition of meaningful life skills and that the programs are implemented in a developmentally appropriate way.

The Youth Development Coordinator will be responsible for leading activities with smaller or larger groups; they will also work one-on-one with clients as needed.

The Youth Development Co-ordinator will implement positive leadership strategies and act as a positive role model for the staff team. The employee in this role will work collaboratively with the staff team to promote the safety, independence, and wellbeing of all clients, staff, and volunteers while upholding the mission and expectations or The Quintilian Way.

The Youth Development Co-ordinator will participate in record maintenance, which includes incident reports and logbook documentation.

The Youth Development Co-ordinator will understand and enforce all safety protocols, and they will take a leadership role in safety protocols (i.e. leading fire drills, educating all staff, developing safety plans, etc.). This position also involves the development and implementation of program evaluation tools. For example, the Youth Development Co-ordinator will create and deliver a survey to evaluation clients’ satisfaction with the program.

The Office Manager will engage in office administration procedures to support the operations of The Quintilian Way.

The Office Manager will report to the Executive Director and will work with them to establish daily, weekly, and monthly objectives.

The Office Manager will respond to inquiries from service recipients, families, and the community via phone, email, and social media.

This role also involves assisting with financial operations, including bookkeeping tasks, payroll, and bill payments.

The Office Manager will keep track of registration and payment for summer camp and youth development programs.

Additionally, the Office Manager will maintain social media and website pages for The Quintilian Way.

Pay: $15.00/Hour

Due to covid, there is a need for implementing enhanced cleaning and sanitizing protocols. The Cleaner will clean lobbies, hallways, offices and rooms of The Quintilian Way premises.

The Cleaner will sanitize all surfaces and high touch areas in lobbies, hallways, offices and rooms of The Quintilian Way premises.

Responsibilities of the Cleaner include, but are not limited to disinfecting desks, tables, chairs, and other surfaces; sweeping and mopping floors; picking up debris and emptying trash cans; and cleaning and stocking bathrooms.

The Cleaner will also document the areas cleaned during their shift. The Cleaner will also document the areas sanitized during their shift.
