The Quintilian Way of Kingston
The Quintilian Way is a charitable organization that supports individuals with social and learning differences including but not limited to ADHD, ADD, Autism, ASD, Anxiety Disorders, LD, and OCD.
Our community members often have difficulty making friends and interacting with others in a positive way. Social behavior needs to be explained, practiced and corrected in the moment in order for youth and young adults to be able to interact with others successfully as they move into adulthood.
The Quintilian Way supports the community individuals and their families through education, advocacy and supportive extracurricular programming.
We also support the caregivers of individuals and the friends, family, and community members who interact with individuals to help create a more inclusive environment for everyone.
Creating opportunity for developing social skills and life skills for individuals with invisible exceptionalities with the goal of successful integration into the community.
The Quintilian Way helps children, youth and young adults develop social and life skills by:
- Providing group opportunities to develop these skills
- Working collaboratively and in partnership with youth, their families and our community.
- Everyone in our community knows about The Quintilian Way and understands what we do.
- We are part of a community where children and youth with invisible disabilities are supported and accepted.
